“You can have that one for free, Pat.”

Kankakee art student, grifter and narc-a-doodle Pat Oswald Splatt posts to Redditopixly begging for volunteers to help with his “nonprofit” app project that’s really for profit.

He interviews three people remotely – all three he rejects even though they were well-qualified – simply because he is a sadistic moron who gets a high off hurting people’s feelings. The empathy is small with this one. Size matters.

Taking a different approach, Pat posts to Fakebook and the X-Parrot begging for free art, a fancy computer and people to tell their friends about his new, non-existent gadget in the making.

After asking a bunch of people if “this is still available?” he starts to get a few replies from people who are a little too nice.

“Hi, you asked about the computer?”

“I don’t like that machine. Can you give me a bigger hard drive?”

“I’ll show you my hard-drive! Click.”

“Yes, the art is available! I’d like to help out.”

“That drawing will suit. Can you make it a little bigger?”

“If you want it, pick it up. Otherwise I will sell it.”

“Come on man, it’s for a good cause!”

“It’s already framed. I put a lot of time into that picture. Time is money and mine is valuable, yes mine. Waste my time again and I’ll send you a bill!”

A “This person is no longer available” message promptly appears at the bottom of the chat window.

Pat messages 89 more people, but his calls and texts go unanswered.

Undead Greg Schneissder walks by Pat’s house, pounds on his door, busts it down.

“Got anyyy braiiins?”

Pat gives Greg the stinkeye, waves him away with one hand.

“Poopies?”

Pat reaches for his shotgun, however the zombie walks away before the non-existent warning shot could be non-fired.

Greg wanders over to a neighbor’s apartment and stares into his window, fixated on the television game-show.

“We surveyed 100 women and asked them, what about men—“

“Farts!” the contestant answers after slamming her hand down onto the set-piece.

“What about men do women find most attractive? Let us seeee…FARTS!”

“AAAANT!”

A big-ol’ X covers the screen and Greg giggles at it, slowly pointing his left arm or finger, he doesn’t remember which.

As Mr. Splatt barricades his newly broken door to keep out zombies, a newly formed text appears on his phone (not to be confused with Newly Formed Turds).

“I thought I’d never hear from him!” Pat thinks aloud, as he makes a mad dash for the door.

After moving the heavy boxes, metal sculptures and broken computers, he opens the doorway to let in his delivery.

Too late!

“Heres your free crap!” the Fakebook freebie group member yells out to Mr. Splatt.

“What? Pat shouts as the dump-truck lowers a whole load of manure all over his front lawn – and him.

“What the truck? The landlord is going to freak out!” exclaims a neighbor.

“Yummm, turds!” Undead Greg cheers as he makes his way towards the pile o’ pig poo, sits down, takes out a fork and a spoon.

At Least Sonya Did Not Chop Off The Giblets and Send Carla the Bill.

Shapeshifting humanoid vulture and Midwestern slumlord Sonya Moran was busy minding her own business, taking a break from chowing down on a carrion score found on the streets of Manteno, Illinois. Her bored sister Carla thought it would be cute to bother her sister for no reason whatsoever, other than to get a rise out of her. Ennui filled the creature with rage. After all, she only looks good on the outside.

“”When is the last time you cut your hair? It looks awful!” the self-righteous narcadoodle Carla berated her histrionic sister Sonya.

“I’ll clip YOUR wings!” Sonya lunged back, massive shears in tow.

“Oh no, not the blood feathers!”

Life-hack

Daily writing prompt
What is a word you feel that too many people use?

If you’re not Lizzie Borden, you’re not a life-hack, just an imposter.

Happy UnDeath Day, Greg Schneissder!

Nobody knows when Manteno’s very own xenophobe, gun-humper and MAGAt Greg Schneissder was born, however we do know that on July 15th, he met his fate down at the bog after communal narcissist, show-tunes cover singer and swamp witch Bernadette Cacca ate him for supper. Then she pooped him out.

The ground shook as the newly undead Greg rose from the rocks, his zombie-fied body now infected with the slow-burn virus on that fateful mid-July day. Bernadette’s farts did not help.

Happy UnDeath Day, Greg!

Somebirdy Needs Better Hobbies.

“Why are you wearing THAT? What is that thing in your nose? That looks awful!” a creepy – yet familiar – voice echoes throughout the the eaves of Gothic Diana Ross & The Midnight Supremes’ Manteno home, annoying the poor ladies who are just sitting down on their patent leather chairs minding their own business. Their stalker is back.

Wanting to find the source of their pest, the trio of slender black beauties climb atop the roof of their slate Gothic Victorian mansion, and briefly take in the view of their town. Illinois is full of small towns. This is one of them.

“Why is that stupid vulture asking us dumb questions and pooping all over her claws?” Gothic Diana Ross asks her bandmates about the bird trespassing on their grass.

“It flew into our wall today. Twice.” Gothic Mary deadpans.

A large nest is spotted, hidden inside one of the spires.

The shapeshifting humanoid turkey vulture hurls more insults at the talented sisters.

“Your hair is full of rats’ nests! You need a wax! When’s the last time you had a shower?”

“That looks like Bernadette’s mom!” Gothic Flo tells the Ross siblings.

Gothic Diana has had enough. She looks Carla Rachella Amanda Medici Moran dead in the eye, only for the stupid bird to go into defensive mode. Carla pukes up all over the Ross sisters’ lawn. Feeling egged on, Mrs. Moran tries to make herself look bigger by extending and flapping her wings as if they were fists ready for a fight. She looks like a confused chicken.

“Here’s your rat’s nest!” Gothic Flo says as she chucks Carla’s second home clear across Kant Street into next Tuesday. The ladies don’t like squatters.

Carla flies up onto the roof, and starts making demands. She clearly has no concept of boundaries.

“NOW I CAME HERE TO TEACH YOU GUYS A LESSON! SEE WHAT YOU DID? NOW I DON’T HAVE A PLACE TO LIVE. YOU SHOULD BE THANKFUL FOR PEOPLE LIKE ME AND RESPECT YOUR ELDERS!”

“I’ll show you respect!” Gothic Diana Ross knocks the angry bird straight into the ground with a single punch, Carla’s long, pointy beak stuck straight into the grass. The inverted bird’s long, dark tail sticks straight up with her cloaca for all the neighbors to see.

The ladies share a deep belly laugh, and beckon their next-door-neighbor, the equally moronic Bernadette Moran Cacca to pick up her mother.

Satan Unveils His New Welcome Sign.

As Hell’s Chief Operating Officer Satan unveils his newly procured “Welcome to Hell” sign — shown off by visiting intern Gothic Diana Ross — in-processing clerk for the newly damned Lucy Furr looks at her boss with visible dismay.

“Isn’t our new sign just peachy?” Satan asks Lucy as Diana continues to model by it, nearly getting hit a baker’s dozen times by the devil’s not-so-careful use of the pulley system.

“Couldn’t our money be better spent on improving working conditions? Hiring more people? Fixing the toilets?” asks the bully known for her tormenting of an autistic 20-something on their college trip to Italy.

“You have your own heated place for the rest of your life. Try being more thankful for the things you have,” Satan passive-aggressively demands of his clerk while sporting a devilish grin.

Meanwhile, communal narcadoodle Bernadette Cacca is still waiting to poop. All the other washrooms in Hell are closed for maintenance.

Bathrooms in Hell

After another 666 hour shift checking in the newly damned at Hell’s front desk, receptionist Lucy Furr really needs to whizz.

“Dang it, this toilet’s got poop all over it.”

Lucy runs to another women’s room.

“This is just a chair with a hole in it! And someone tried to flush clothes down this toilet! Where’s the stall doors?”

In a frenzy, the bully from Kankakee best known for harassing an autistic girl on her college trip to Italy, Lucy Furr busts out the washroom, rushing around the first circle of Hell trying to yet find another one before she springs a massive leak in her drawers.

Out of luck and almost out of time, she tries one more powder room:

Carrion On

Albion, Indiana shapeshifting vulture Carla Moran complains at her sister-in-law, fellow shapeshifter Sonya Moran, because she dropped a piece of carrion she has been eating:

“You just dropped that perfectly good piece of rotted carcass. You shouldn’t waste food! Now you’re getting that all over your feathers.”

“Umm, do you think I did it on purpose? I’ll wait…” Sonya claps back.

“I am just trying to help!” Carla gaslights.

“How bold of you to assume I did that intentionally. I bet you never dropped anything in your entire lifespan!”

“Okay, okay, okay, drop it already.”

“I will!”

Sonya steals her sister-in-law’s food right out her mouth, dropping her entire meal all over the ground at the Albion park, much to the dismay of her controlling sister-in-law and that of all the residents below.
